A Must-Visit Gem with Stunning Views and Great Food! I’ve visited this place more than once, and every time it gets better — they’re clearly improving each year. The view is absolutely stunning, and the menu offers a great mix of both international and local cuisine. On my latest visit, I enjoyed a nicely cooked piece of meat served with fresh arugula and tomato on the side — a simple but appreciated touch! The drive to get there might feel a bit long or even like you’re going the wrong way, but don’t worry — it’s worth it and the destination is there. Highly recommend checking this place out, my price is including a drink.

lovely restaurant with an amazing view!! Definitely worth the car ride uphill - the food was delicious, the waiters were incredibly accommodating and nice and we were even served their homemade liquor. If you have the chance, visit them - you wont regret it :))

An absolutely beautiful, family owned restaurant full of pride, warmth, and friendliness. We were even given a little tour to see how they prepare the food over hot coals in a building that’s nearly 1,000 years old! The view is breathtaking, and the food easily the best I’ve eaten in Croatia. A must visit!

Konoba Tadići in Slime is far more than a restaurant — it’s an unforgettable experience that stays with you long after your visit. Perched over 300 meters above sea level, surrounded by dramatic mountains and canyon landscapes, it offers a peaceful escape into pure nature. With no neighboring houses for more than 3 km, the atmosphere is serene and magical. From the spacious terrace, you can watch the sunrise to the north and admire the peaks stretching toward Bosnia and Herzegovina — a breathtaking backdrop that makes every moment special. The food matches the setting in every way. We enjoyed a crisp local Chardonnay and excellent coffee, perfectly complementing the meal. The Cezar salad was fresh and vibrant, while the Bečki schnitzel and Zagrebački schnitzel were true highlights — golden, tender, and full of flavor. Served with homemade fries from locally grown potatoes and a seasonal handpicked salad of tomatoes and cucumbers, every bite felt authentic and full of care. It’s clear that everything here is prepared with love, respect for tradition, and attention to detail. The service was another standout — kind, professional, and genuinely warm, creating a homely feeling in this peaceful mountain setting. Dining at Konoba Tadići is not just about enjoying excellent food; it’s about creating memories that go beyond expectations. The combination of authentic flavors, stunning views, and heartfelt hospitality makes this a destination worth traveling for. Absolutely wonderful family-run place! Konoba Tadici offers stunning mountain views from a peaceful terrace surrounded by cherry trees – yes, you can snack on them in season! The meat platters are excellent, and the fried potatoes are fresh, sweet, and delicious. We didn’t try the Peka (you need to order it at least 1.5 hours in advance), but it looked amazing. The service is warm, personal, and multilingual (Croatian, English, German). A true hidden gem in the hills – authentic, welcoming, and run by a family for over 50 years. Highly recommended!

For the the best konoba in makarska region in 2025. We come here every year since 7 years. Located at the end of road in the mountains next to old abandoned vilage. With beautifull view over Cetina river canion. Great view from restaurant terrace. Restaurant is operated by very friendly family. They prepare everything themselves bread, meat, wine, oil. Food is great and served with kindness. Every evening there is memorable experience. We ate peka with lamb, veal and octopus, all very tasty. I recommend peka, which is prepared over a slow fire with wood. Good house wines, too one. For wine lovers.

This place is beautiful. The views are wonderful, you can see for miles, and there was a nice cooling breeze on a very hot day. We sat outside for a late lunch, and the food was delicious. The waitress was so friendly and made excellent food suggestions, I followed her advice and had the black risotto with cuttlefish, and it was delicious, a generous portion too. We also had grilled chicken with fried potatoes, which was cooked nicely, but perhaps the chicken was a little less exciting. The local wine was nice. We also had iced coffee, and our ice bucket was constantly refreshed, which we appreciated on a very hot day. Would definitely recommend a trip up here. When we where there late afternoon it was very quiet but they said the evenings get very busy and bookings would be necessary then, especially to get a table with a view.
